Drew McIntyre Pulled From WWE King Of The Ring Tournament

WWE General Manager Adam Pearce has announced that former WWE Champion Drew McIntyre has been pulled from the King of the Ring tournament because is is not medically cleared to compete. McIntyre was scheduled to wrestle tonight in a tournament match against Finn Balor on Monday Night Raw.

McIntyre was working with a sleeve on his elbow during the recent European tour and he confirmed on The Pat McAfee Show that his elbow was fractured at WrestleMania when his legs were swept out by CM Punk.

The attack from Punk that McIntyre is referencing is what led to Damian Priest winning the World Heavyweight Championship after cashing in his Money In The Bank briefcase.
