Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson spoke with TMZ Sports while in New York City this week to do promotion for the “Hobbs & Shaw” movie, which will open in theaters on Friday.
During this interview, the former WWE Champion gave high praise to WWE star Drew McIntyre once asked who he thinks is the next Rock or John Cena, or the next big Superstar in WWE.
The Rock brought up while he’s not sure who that person is right now, after talking with Roman Reigns, he has a good understanding of everybody who has potential and who doesn’t.
“I like Drew McIntyre. I think he’s got a great look and a great build. Especially as he continues to hone in on his craft and connect with the audience.”
McIntyre responded to The Rock’s comments by writing the following on Twitter:
