Drew McIntyre is slated to make his first appearance since losing the WWE Championship on Monday’s episode of Raw.
WWE advertised him for the show during a commercial that aired on SmackDown. He will address not only losing the WWE Title, but also the attack by Bobby Lashley, which led to The Miz cashing in his Money in the Bank briefcase at the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view event.
At Elimination Chamber, McIntyre retained the WWE Championship against AJ Styles, Sheamus, Jeff Hardy, Kofi Kingston, and Randy Orton. McIntyre didn’t appear on Raw this week following Elimination Chamber. Sheamus defeated Hardy on the episode and during an interview segment, he said he still wants a one-on-one match against McIntyre.
The company has already confirmed The Miz will defend the WWE Title against Bobby Lashley on this show, which could give a bump to Raw’s ratings.
No other matches or segments have been announced for this show. The company will likely start building programs for the Fastlane pay-per-view event, which takes place in a few weeks.
