WWE has announced a new segment for Monday’s episode of Raw, which will feature build towards the next pay-per-view event, Elimination Chamber.
After the angle last week where Sheamus turned and laid WWE Champion Drew McIntyre out with a Brogue Kick, WWE has announced that McIntyre will address Sheamus’ attack on the show:
It was a Brogue Kick Drew McIntyre will never forget, and now the WWE Champion is set to address it this Monday.
After Royal Rumble Match winner Edge put McIntyre on notice last Monday, Sheamus appeared to seemingly come to the defense of his friend, only to rock the WWE Champion, and the WWE Universe, with a devastating Brogue Kick. Sheamus was quick to make his motivations clear, eyeing an opportunity at McIntyre’s WWE Title, a request that the Scottish Warrior quickly and vehemently accepted.

Last week, WWE had Sheamus do an interview after he attacked his friend and noted that McIntyre is no longer his friend as well as how he wanted McIntyre’s WWE Championship.
McIntyre then responded to Sheamus in an interview by noting how they’ve fought in the past, but this time was different. McIntyre said if Sheamus is willing to throw their friendship away over the title then so be it.
