Drew McIntyre Undergoes Eye Check-Up After WWE SmackDown Attack

On the March 28th episode of WWE SmackDown, Damian Priest launched a brutal attack on Drew McIntyre in the parking lot, ending with McIntyre being thrown through a car window.

Following this attack, McIntyre took to social media to mention getting “real glass” in his eye from the attack. It was reported that this was a shoot, and McIntyre had glass in the eye.

However, PWInsider.com later reported that McIntyre did not get glass in his eye. Instead, it was said something got into the eye, and he was having issues because of it.

The ex-WWE Champion shared a photo on Twitter from his eye checkup, captioning it, “Small steps in the right direction.” He is set to face Damian Priest in a singles match at WrestleMania 41.
