Drew McIntyre: WWE Holding A WrestleMania In The UK Is Inevitable

Drew McIntyre is a strong believer in the UK getting a WWE WrestleMania event in the near future.

WWE returned to the market a few years ago with the Clash at the Castle PLE in 2022 before turning in 2023 with Money in the Bank. This year, WWE has held more international events than ever, with stops in Australia, France, Scotland, Toronto, and Berlin.

At Money in the Bank 2023, Cena publicly pushed for Mania to happen in the UK. While speaking with the Daily Star, McIntyre shared his belief in this happening.

“These days, I have a very different mindset than what I used to have, in that anything and everything is possible. It’s not just that there’s going to be a big show in the UK at some point. I believe there is going to be a WrestleMania. I’ve said that from the moment I started believing that anything is possible. So if you want your headline, John Cena tried to claim credit for it when we came to London a couple of years back. I said it first that there would be a Mania in the UK before Cena started running around trying to take credit.”

WWE is in the middle of a three-week European tour. In addition to house shows, WWE scheduled to air six episodes of weekly television during the tour.
