The co-main event for the WWE Elimination Chamber PLE was the Men’s Chamber match with John Cena vs. CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre vs. Logan Paul vs. Damian Priest vs. Seth Rollins. The winner of the match would secure a title shot as they would challenge Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship at WrestleMania 41 next month.
Cena went over in the contest before turning heel and aligning with The Rock. In the Chamber bout, Priest rolled up McIntyre to eliminate him.
McIntyre got his revenge as he laid out Priest and set up his elimination. The two are expected to feud and face off in a match at WrestleMania 41.
There was a report that WWE changed plans for McIntyre to win days before the PLE. Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select reported that, contrary to rumors, McIntyre was never the plan to win this match.
