“Dune: Part Two” Featuring Dave Bautista Has Release Date Pushed Back

Fans will have to wait longer to see the thriller “Dune: Part Two,” featuring former WWE Champion Dave Bautista.

Javier Bardem, Josh Brolin, Oscar Isaac, Zendaya, Stellan Skarsgård, and Jason Momoa return to the franchise in their roles from the first movie. Austin Butler, Florence Pugh, Christopher Walken, and Léa Seydoux have joined the cast for the second film.

The future WWE Hall of Famer portrays Glossu Rabban, the brutish nephew of Baron Harkonnen.

Villeneuve and Jon Spaihts wrote the film, which was produced by Mary Parent, Cale Boyter, Patrick McCormick, Denis Villeneuve, and Tanya Lapointe. Here is the synopsis for the film, which Denis Villeneuve directs:

“Paul Atreides unites with Chani and the Fremen while seeking revenge against the conspirators who destroyed his family. Facing a choice between the love of his life and the fate of the universe, he must prevent a terrible future only he can foresee.”

The movie was slated to be released on November 3, 2023, in theaters. However, the movie has been delayed to March 15, 2024, due to the impact of the current SAG-AFTRA strike, as it prevents the cast from promoting the film.

The first movie brought in $402 million at the box office. You can watch the trailer here:
