“Dark Side of the Ring” producers are hard at work on the episodes that will be part of the third season.

Now, it’s being reported the producers will cover one of the more well-known tragic stories in wrestling, which is the life and career of Dynamite Kid.

He was a star of the Stampede Wrestling promotion, headed by Stu Hart, as well as a former WWE Tag Team Champion. He had some classic matches with Tiger Mask and considered a pioneer for inspiring the fast-paced style that is still popular today.

Ultimately, he was in a wheelchair after having lost the use of his left leg in 1997 due to back and leg injuries suffered throughout his career. Billington suffered a stroke in 2013 and later passed away on his 60th birthday in 2018.

The report also notes Vice TV will air a special entitled “ Dark Side of the Ring: Confidential.” It will see an overview of past episodes and future episodes, as well as Conrad Thompson, interviewing the creators of the series. The special was taped last year at the former ECW Arena and will air on Tuesday, March 9.

Topics expected to be covered in the third season include Chris Kanyon, Bruiser Bedlam, XPW, WCW Collision in Korea, and Brian Pillman Sr.
