Former WWF Tag Team Champion Dynamite Kid hospitalized, in rough shape

The Wrestling Observer newsletter reports that former WWF Tag Team Champion “Dynamite Kid” Tom Billington (one-half of The British Bulldogs) is hospitalized in the United Kingdom after suffering a stroke.

The situation is said to be very serious and he’s been in the hospital for six weeks. His speech has improved but physically, his condition has worsened. In the hospital, there was a point where Billington thought he was in a wrestling ring so he started calling spots for a match with Abdullah The Butcher.

He has suffered from at least one other stroke because I remember that WWE.com posted something on their website back in 2013 and they noted that he was hospitalized and may have endured more than one stroke during that week.

Billington turned 57 years old on Saturday.
