Early Betting Odds For WWE SummerSlam Predict Major Title Changes

With six matches already announced for the first-ever two-day WWE SummerSlam, the early betting odds have been released. According to the oddsmakers at BetOnline.ag, fans can expect to see a number of major title changes at the event.

New Champions Expected At SummerSlam

Of the five championship matches announced, four currently have the challengers favored to win. Cody Rhodes (-250) is the favorite to defeat John Cena for the Undisputed WWE Championship. CM Punk (-300) is favored to win the World Heavyweight Championship from GUNTHER. Jade Cargill (-500) is a heavy favorite to win the WWE Women’s Championship from Tiffany Stratton, and Lyra Valkyria (-150) is favored to beat Becky Lynch for the Women’s Intercontinental Championship.

Naomi Favored To Retain; Orton & Jelly Roll Favored To Win

The lone champion favored to retain their title is the new Women’s World Champion, Naomi (-500), in her triple-threat match against Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY. In the non-title tag team grudge match, the team of Randy Orton & Jelly Roll (-300) are the favorites to defeat Drew McIntyre & Logan Paul (+200).

The first-ever two-day SummerSlam is set to take place on August 2nd and 3rd at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. While six major matches have been announced, top stars like Roman Reigns, who recently returned to Raw, are still without a confirmed opponent, suggesting more matches will be added in the coming weeks.
