EC3 appears to be in the doghouse with WWE management

A couple of weeks ago, we wondered about EC3 being in the WWE doghouse after the company cooled off on him following his main roster in-ring debut on Monday Night Raw in February.

EC3 made his in-ring Monday Night Raw debut on February 2nd with a win over Dean Ambrose but things have gone downhill since that time.

EC3 began to lose matches after a series of victories over Ambrose at live events. His first main roster loss was to Shelton Benjamin at the 2/16 event in Alexandra, Louisiana. Aside from a win over Apollo Crews and the departing Tye Dillinger, he has lost the rest of his matches at live events and he lost to Tyler Breeze on this week’s episode of WWE Main Event.

I asked around and most people in the company don’t know what the deal is but one person told us that, for some reason, Vince McMahon is not too high on EC3 right now.

I will try to find out more on his status this week but the recent losses (especially the latest one to Tyler Breeze) all point towards EC3 being in the doghouse.

On a related note, Bobby Lashley successfully defended the Intercontinental Championship in Triple Threat matches at this weekend’s live events against Apollo Crews and EC3. It was EC3 who was pinned in those matches.
