ECW Legend Francine Announces She is Cancer-Free

“The Queen of Extreme” Francine has shared wonderful news regarding her health. The ECW legend announced on her social media accounts today that her recent biopsy results came back negative and that she is cancer-free.

A Grateful Announcement

In a short but emotional post, Francine expressed her relief and gratitude to her fans who had been sending their support. “Just got my biopsy results and NO CANCER WAS FOUND! God is good!” she wrote. “Thank you for all the prayers and positive thoughts that you sent my way!”

The Queen of Extreme

Francine became one of the most iconic female personalities of the 1990s during her time in Extreme Championship Wrestling. As “The Queen of Extreme,” she was a heat-seeking manager who was never afraid to get physically involved in the action. She famously managed several of ECW’s top stars, including “The Franchise” Shane Douglas as a member of the Triple Threat faction, as well as The Pitbulls, Stevie Richards, and Justin Credible.

After ECW closed, Francine made appearances for WWE, including at the 2005 ECW One Night Stand pay-per-view and as part of the relaunched ECW brand in 2006. In recent years, she has remained connected to the wrestling world through convention appearances and by hosting her own podcast, Eyes Up Here. She also made a surprise guest appearance at a WWE NXT event held at the old ECW Arena in November 2024.
