Earlier today, it was reported by PWInsider that Edge would be returning next month as part of Smackdown 1000.
PWInsider said that they did not know what his role would be but they were exclusively reporting that he was booked by WWE to appear.
Well, if the report is true then it’s news to Edge. Someone mentioned the news on Twitter and it looks like he wasn’t told anything so either the news is not true or WWE has plans for him to be at the show and he hasn’t been informed yet. It could also be that he is choosing not to confirm anything until it’s announced by WWE.

WWE has been reaching out to several former Superstars about making an appearance on the show. So far, The Undertaker is the first major name confirmed to appear.
