Edge thinks he could do a match tomorrow, talks possible in-ring return

WWE Hall of Famer Edge made headlines with making a surprise appearance on the pre-show for WWE SummerSlam pay-per-view event in Toronto, Ontario at the Scotiabank Arena.

In this segment, he connected with a spear to Elias.

Edge talked about the segment on the most recent episode of “Edge and Christian’s Pod of Awesomeness.” This is where he made it known that he thinks he feels healthy enough for one more match.

“To be perfectly honest, I think I could do a match tomorrow,” Edge said on the show. “I might be blown up but I’d be okay. It’s just from what I know with the WWE medical staff, they won’t allow. It is what it is, right?”

Edge would talk about how he did have a doctor tell him that they could basically get his neck relatively healthy within 5 years. He’s also looking into getting stem cells done. The pro wrestling noted that while he could not return full-time, he thinks working another match is possible.

He was forced to retire from pro wrestling due to a history of neck problems in 2011.
