Elias has transformed his character on WWE television since he made his main roster debut after having a run in WWE’s developmental brand, NXT. Although he was pushed as a heel at first, he has turned into a favorite with the fans due to his weekly singing segments.
While doing a recent interview with The Monitor to promote the WWE live event this weekend in Edinburg, Texas, the Monday Night Raw talked about a wide range of topics that includes fans comparing him The Rock.
This is where Elias stated that he’s doing something “The Great One” can’t do inside of a WWE ring.
“I hear comparisons,” Elias said of The Rock. “He was doing cover songs and I’m doing originals all the time in front of tens of thousands. That’s something The Rock cannot do.”
