WWE Monday Night Raw star Elias has made it known that he’s more than willing to take on a big name at WrestleMania 35.
During a recent interview with Wrestlezone’s Kevin Kellam while promoting Monday’s RAW TV event, Elias stated that he would be interested in laying out the challenge to future WWE Hall of Famer The Undertaker to a match. Although at first, he threw out John Cena’s name, he seems more interested in a contest against “The Deadman.” Either way, Elias would be in store for a big match against each talent.
“It’s really about big stars and big moments. I’ve had a lot of great moments; Wrestlemania, where all eyes around the world are on you there. At Wrestlemania, I’d love to wrestle John Cena; I’ve got a lot of issues with that guy. I’ve got issues with The Undertaker, I’d love to take The Undertaker out. I think ‘The Living Truth vs The Dead Man’ is a great story right there. Those are two guys I have in my sights right now, and one way or another I’d like to get a hold of them right now.”
You probably rule out Cena as Elias’ opponent because it looks like he might be facing a big name at WrestleMania. Click here for more on that.
WWE will hold WrestleMania 35 on Sunday, April 7, 2019 in East Rutherford, NJ at MetLife Stadium and will air live on the WWE Network. As of this writing, the company has yet to confirm the status of Cena and Taker for the show.
