Ember Moon opens up on her WWE departure

Ember Moon was among the names to be let go by WWE on November 4th, but now she is a free agent as her non-compete clause expired at the start of this month. Moon opened up on her time with WWE while speaking on her Twitch channel.

“Without WWE, I wouldn’t be where I’m at today. I got to travel the world, meet amazing people and make amazing friends that are going to be with me for a lifetime. At the end of the day, I don’t think it’s all bad. Every time I look at the negatives, and there were plenty, trust me, the positives outweigh that. There is no use in being mad.”

Moon stated that she feels bad for several of her friends who were also released by WWE that never got to show what they could do. She got to do just that and that’s partially the reason why she doesn’t think it’s fair to complain.

Moon has been doing a lot of self-reflection about what she could’ve done differently while waiting out her non-compete clause. She said at times she felt “stagnant and there was no opportunity to grow at times.”

Regarding a possible WWE return, she said she didn’t have a terrible experience and if they asked to come back then she would be open to it depending on the right circumstances.

Her last match with WWE was a loss to NXT Women’s Champion Mandy Rose in October. The former WWE star will appear at the Baltimore Celebfest 3 on Sunday, February 6 at the La Fontaine Bleue for a signing.
