Ember Moon has an “ultimate dream match” in mind, and the opponent may surprise you.
The former NXT Women’s Champion was recently interviewed by Post and Courier to talk about her journey through the world of professional wrestling. Moon was asked for several names that she’d like to work with that she hasn’t gotten to quite yet.
She named competitors such as Charlotte Flair, Sasha Banks, Bayley, Natalya and also showed interest in another program with Asuka. Moon then said that her “ultimate dream match,” however, would be with Hall Of Famer Beth Phoenix:
“There are so many people I have yet had the opportunity to work with. I’d love to have a match with Charlotte, Sasha, Bayley — the women who were at the forefront of the women’s revolution.
“I’d love to have another match with Asuka, I’d love to have a match with Natalya. But my ultimate dream match of all time would be versus Beth Phoenix.
“She has been such an inspiration for people who are different and were told that they would never be here. She kept that dream alive for me.”
WWE recently announced their first ever all-female pay-per-view (PPV), Evolution, coming up in October. Phoenix has been confirmed for the show, so a match-up between she and Moon is more possible now than ever.
