Emma (Tenille Dashwood) is back in WWE as she made her return to the company on Friday’s episode of SmackDown when she answered the open challenge issued by WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey.
Rousey went over in the match. Despite the loss, Emma is happy to be back in WWE after five years away. In a post on Twitter, Emma issued the following statement about how much this return means to her:
“5 years ago today, I was heartbroken feeling like my dream had come to an end. Today my heart is so full! I’m overwhelmed by the amount of support I have. You guys are the best. Now… I’ve got some unfinished business to take care of! @WWE.”
As previously reported, Triple H is interested in bringing back another former WWE star.
She was previously in WWE from 2011 to 2017. Ironically, WWE let her go on October 29, 2017, and she returned on October 28th. She was part of NXT when the brand first started on the WWE Network and competed in the first-ever NXT Women’s Title bout against Saraya (Paige).
After departing from WWE, she had a long and successful run with Impact Wrestling.
