When WWE wishes someone the best of luck in their future endeavors you never know where that will take them in the wild and wonderful world of pro wrestling. But one thing is for sure, when Emma received her WWE release that wasn’t the end of her pro wrestling journey.
It looks like once her 90-day no-compete clause is up in February 2018 she’ll be free to explore other opportunities in indy wrestling and she’s already booked her first show.
Absolute Intense Wrestling announced Emma will be their special guest at their February show. While “special guest” doesn’t really mean she’ll wrestle we can only hope she’ll have a chance to show what she can do without WWE-issued reins holding her back. These shows can get rather intense as well, hence the “I” in AIW, so who knows that Emma might end up doing?
AIW is an Ohio-based indy fed so if you’re in the Cleveland area it will probably be a show worth checking out. Emma won’t be allowed to perform as the leader of the Emmalution any longer due to WWE owning that one-word name. But Tenille Dashwood is actually a better wrestling name if you ask me.
