Cumulus Media announced on November 6, 2025, that Chris Van Vliet will be joining the Cumulus Podcast Network. As a result of the new partnership, Van Vliet’s show, “Insight with Chris Van Vliet,” will be distributed, marketed, and monetized by the Cumulus Podcast Network, which is part of Westwood One’s portfolio.
The press release states that professional wrestling is experiencing “unprecedented mainstream success — driven by billion-dollar streaming deals and record-breaking viewership for major brands like WWE and AEW”. The release notes this partnership will allow Chris Van Vliet to “expand one of the industry’s most popular wrestling and entertainment interview shows to reach an even wider audience”.
“Insight” was “Launched by Van Vliet as a passion project” and has since “grew into a leading destination for long-form, authentic, behind-the-scenes conversations with top talent”. The show is described in the release as a “dominant force in the wrestling media landscape” and the “#1 wrestling podcast in the world”. The release also states the show “consistently” ranks “among the top sports and entertainment shows on Apple & Spotify”. Van Vliet’s two YouTube channels “boast nearly 2 million subscribers and over 2.8 billion views”.
Van Vliet has interviewed some of the biggest names in and out of the wrestling business including “The Rock, John Cena, Dave Bautista, Chris Jericho, Becky Lynch, Cody Rhodes, Jelly Roll, Rey Mysterio and The Undertaker. The show explores “not just their careers, but the mindset and motivation that drive their success”. The release adds, “Through these thoughtful, candid, and humanizing chats, Van Vliet has earned the respect and trust of these performers, making him one of the most credible voices in the wrestling community”.
Chris Van Vliet provided a statement on the partnership: “I couldn’t be more excited to bring INSIGHT to the Cumulus Podcast Network. The partnership will provide “Insight” with access to Cumulus’s “extensive distribution network, marketing support, and advertising infrastructure”. The release states this will position the show for “continued growth at a time when wrestling content is seeing record engagement across platforms”. Fans can also “expect exclusive live events and bonus content” in addition to the weekly episodes.
