Big Cass went down like a ton of bricks after taking a hard bump to the outside on Raw. When it happened even Michael Cole mentioned how Cass hurt his knee. The seven-foot-tall Superstar made it back to the ring but he was soon defeated by his own body. Cass and Enzo moved right to the finish of the match, but his knee gave out while executing an Empire Elbow. The match was soon called off and Big Cass didn’t seem happy about it at all.
It was recently mentioned on Wrestling Observer Radio how this was going to be the capper on Big Cass’ feud with Enzo Amore but it went awry. Now the question remains how long Big Cass will be out of action but judging by the way the match was called off it doesn’t look good. Dave Meltzer noted how WWE could bring Cass back as a face if the injury is too long but that’s not what they want to do. The need a strong heel in Big Cass, but this injury is certainly getting in the way of plans.
Enzo Amore jumped on Twitter to rub some salt in Big Cass’ wounds. He called Cass SAWFT and brought up the time he was injured but carried on regardless. This feud might not be over because Enzo said this is not how he wanted to pick up a win over Colin Cassady. Only time will tell how long it will take Big Cass to respond inside the squared circle.
