Enzo Amore recently spoke with Mike Mooneyham of postandcourier.com to promote the WWE live event at the North Charleston Coliseum on November 27th. During the interview, Amore was asked who has been the biggest influence on his career. “I would say Triple H is the biggest influence on my career,” Amore said. He added that Triple H is almost like a father figure to him and if he slips up or has a problem then Triple H lets him know about it.
Many people might not know this, but WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels was Amore’s favorite Superstar while he was growing. Amore said that he lived, ate, breathed and slept Michaels as he never called WWE pro wrestling when he was a kid but rather he would just call it Shawn Michaels.
Amore was asked about how he came up with his name. Amore explained that when he was in practice or in the weight room, he was a character and a strong personality just like The Miz was on the “Real World.” Miz would always refer to himself as The Miz instead of Mike Mizanin. “In a very similar likeness, I was EA All Day. So that acronym EA is where Enzo Amore came from.”
