Eric Bischoff details how he would have booked The Undertaker in WCW

WCW may have been much different for various reasons including if The Undertaker, who had been the longtime leader of the WWE locker room, had decided to make the jump from the WWE to their rival promotion.

On a recent episode of Eric Bischoff’s 83 Weeks podcast, Bischoff talked about if he were able to sign Taker to a WCW contract, how he’d hypothetically book him. Obviously, this would’ve taken place during the Monday Night Wars.

This was when Bischoff stated that he would’ve had to come up with a new gimmick for him as they wouldn’t have been able to use the Undertaker character in WCW. That alone would’ve been a big challenge.

“Hypothetically, the whole NWO/WCW storyline as I had it in my head, would have played out the way I wanted it. nWo would have officially taken over Monday Nitro, top to bottom would have been an nWo show. WCW would have been over on Thunder, had we had it play out the way I hoped for.”

Bischoff continued, “Because WCW and Mark Callous (Undertaker) previously had a relationship, I would have probably tried to play off that. I would have probably tried to bring Undertaker/Mark Callous in on the WCW side of the equation to be kind of a counter for Kevin Nash.”
