As John Cena prepares for his retirement tour in 2025, Eric Bischoff has identified the superstar he believes will fill the void left by the “Doctor of Thuganomics.” While speaking with the Action Network, Bischoff named Bron Breakker as the future face of WWE, citing his athletic background and natural charisma.
Bischoff said: “Bron Breakker [will replace John Cena as the biggest star] because of the discipline, the athleticism and that elusive thing that you’re either born with or you’re not: Charisma. He’s got it all.”
Bischoff also spoke about his respect for Cena, noting how rare it is for a performer to dictate the terms of their own exit from the industry. He is happy that Cena is getting the chance to close his career on his own terms.
Bischoff commented: “John Cena, right now, is achieving something that very few performers ever get a chance to do, and that’s he’s writing the last sentence of his story in professional wrestling… He gets to close that book and be proud of what he’s done. That’s such an accomplishment, and I’m so happy that John is experiencing that. He deserves to experience that. He’s worked so hard. He’s sacrificed so much.”
Bron Breakker is currently enjoying a dominant run on the main roster. He’s a former Intercontinental Champion and in the middle of the biggest run of his career with The Vision faction.
