Ethan Page is gearing up for a high-stakes showdown at WWE Deadline this Saturday. He’ll be competing against Wes Lee, Je’Von Evans, Nathan Frazier, and a yet-to-be-determined opponent in the Iron Survivor Challenge.
In a recent interview with Fightful, Page discussed his experience with CM Punk as the guest referee for his Halloween Havoc match against Trick Williams. While he acknowledged the increased exposure that came with sharing the ring with a star like Punk, Page hinted at some dissatisfaction with the aftermath, saying, “The things that followed up after, not too cool.”
Since leaving AEW and signing with WWE for the NXT brand, Page has been a prominent figure on the brand.
When asked about potentially taking on a coaching role in NXT, Page said the following: “I would definitely say I’m not in a coaching position whatsoever,” he stated. While he’s happy to offer advice when asked, his focus remains on his own in-ring career. “I’m not just walking around trying to help these athletes jump ahead of Ethan Page,” he clarified.
With his sights set on victory at Deadline, Page is determined to climb the ranks in NXT and solidify his position as a top contender. NXT Deadline airs live this Saturday night on Peacock at 7 PM Eastern.
