The subject of sexual assault and harassment is not going away anytime soon. The Harvey Weinstein stories have made it easier for women to come forward with their own stories. It’s no shock to hear similar stories from people in Hollywood and the political world and it seems like some people in pro wrestling are feeling more comfortable about telling their own stories.
Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet posted an interesting clip from Vince Russo’s podcast. Russo said that, while he was working for WWE, a wrestler went up to him and said that one of the male wrestlers on the roster raped her.
Former WWE/TNA star Shelly Martinez retweeted Satin’s tweet and added that she was almost raped while on an overseas tour. She went on to say that others have shared with her that they have been raped.

I almost got raped while on a over seas tour. Since then others have shared with me they were raped. So sad. https://t.co/JyHbTlKysY

I should note that Martinez never mentioned which company she was working for when this incident (and the others she was told about) happened.
