A Familiar Face Is Expected To Be At Tonight’s WWE Raw

A WWE Hall of Famer is reportedly set to be at Monday Night Raw. According to a report from BodySlam.net, “Sources indicate to Bodyslam that WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella is expected to be at RAW in Sacramento, CA.” This news comes after Bella has been absent from WWE programming for several weeks.

Still Part of The Plan

Bella’s absence led some fans to speculate that her most recent return to the company had quietly ended. However, a report from Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select indicated that Bella remains part of WWE’s plans. During a Q&A session, Sapp addressed her status.

“The last I’d heard she would be around here and there,” Sapp said. “I don’t think there were any real plans for her in Australia so there wasn’t a great need to have her around for the build to that. They expect Nikki to be on the show for a while, from everything that I’ve heard.”

Here For The Long Haul

Nikki Bella’s return is reportedly not intended to be a short-term run. In an August interview with The TakeDown on SI, she explained her motivation for coming back, stating a desire to perform at a high level and assist the current roster.

“Why can’t women my age do it too? Why does it always have to be for one big PLE? We come in for a few weeks and then we’re gone,” Bella said. “Why can’t we come in for a while and see how I can hang with the younger era? I’m here to take spots, I’m here for anything to help the people that we need to make.”

Bella’s most recent match was a loss to Asuka on the September 8 edition of Raw. Her last televised appearance was a backstage segment involving members of Damage CTRL and Rhea Ripley, hinting at future storyline possibilities. You can check out the Raw lineup here.
