The report states that despite rumors, Saraya was never slated to be at the event in Atlanta, as she is currently in Hawaii. The report also addressed speculation surrounding AJ Lee, which was fueled by recent WWE YouTube content featuring her. According to the report, there was no connection between the YouTube videos and any plan for Lee to appear at Evolution.
Fan Speculation And Social Media Buzz
Fan speculation about a potential Saraya appearance grew after she made several posts on social media showing her support for the event. In the case of AJ Lee, who retired in 2015, rumors of a potential return have been common since her husband, CM Punk, made his own comeback to WWE late last year. The new report, however, has put these specific rumors to rest.
While Saraya and AJ Lee were not present, the Evolution event was not without its legendary figures.
