NXT events are fun because of the atmosphere created by the fans. But every now and then there’s one bonehead that feels the need to be a part of the show.
That is what happened on Friday night at the NXT live event in Tampa when a fan jumped in the ring during a match between The Undisputed Era (Adam Cole, Bobby Fish, and Kyle O’Reilly) and Kassius Ohno and Heavy Machinery. According to the reports from the show, O’Reilly kicked the fan in the face and was then quickly pulled out and escorted out of the arena. Presumably, he will be banned from all future WWE events.
Here is footage of the fan being taken away by security.

We will post an update if we are able to obtain footage of the fan running into the ring and being kicked by O’Reilly. Needless to say, if you run into the ring during a match then don’t be surprised if you get a punch or a kick as a receipt. Fans have every right to cheer and boo for whoever they want but all bets are off once you jump the barricade and attempt to get close to one of the wrestlers.
If there’s anyone out there thinking about doing at a future show this then maybe you should check out this video from 2002 of Eddie Guerrero punching a dumb fan:
