Fans at Monday Night Raw reportedly told to cover up AEW merchandise

A fan is alleging that WWE security members threatened to remove fans if they were seen wearing AEW merchandise on the hard-camera side at Monday’s episode of Raw in Cleveland, Ohio at the Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse.

This is according to John Clark of WrestleZone, who was in attendance for the show.

Fans who were sitting near the entrance ramp and at ringside were reportedly told that they would be "thrown out of the arena" should they wear an AEW t-shirt or held up an AEW-related sign.

Also, Rob Johnston sent word to Wrestling Inc that he was allowed in the arena with AEW merchandise on but was told that he had to cover it up with a sweater that his friend had.

This comes months after the AEW Double Or Nothing launch rally in Jacksonville, FL back in January that was held a few hours before the SmackDown TV event in the same city.

Fans mentioned on social media that they were not allowed into the arena until they covered up their AEW t-shirts. A fan claimed at the time that he was "kicked out" for sporting an AEW towel.
