WWE left fans with a lot to talk about after last night’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown. If you missed it, Paul Heyman returned as the OG Bloodline and new Bloodline were standing face-to-face in the ring. Heyman walked out and brought out CM Punk as the OG Bloodline’s 5th member for Survivor Series: WarGames.
First, as seen below, it looks like CM Punk is saying something along the lines of “that’s my wiseman” and Roman Reigns appears to be saying “we’ll see.” Longtime fans remember that Heyman and Punk were very close during Punk’s first WWE run.
Fans have also picked up on Heyman winking to Jimmy Uso. But the big thing that fans online are talking about is Heyman’s attire. Heyman came out dressed in black with a red undershirt and red handkerchief, which has become a trademark for Solo Sikoa.
Keep in mind that Roman Reigns was unable to get in touch with Heyman last week because his phone was not in service and it was Solo who destroyed Heyman’s phone several weeks ago. So, have Heyman and Solo worked out a deal for Heyman to be the Wiseman to the new Bloodline? If the idea is that Heyman’s character works better as a heel, then that makes sense. Furthermore, the company is building Solo and you could argue that Reigns as babyface doesn’t need Heyman so we’ll see if this is all leading to a big swerve, perhaps at Survivor Series.
