Fans Shouldn’t Expect To See This Star Appear For WWE This Weekend

WWE will be running three big shows over the next few days at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It starts tonight with SmackDown, followed by Money in the Bank on Saturday and Heatwave on Sunday.

However, fans shouldn’t expect to see an appearance by Giulia. She was believed to report to the WWE Performance Center in late June or early July, with the plan for her to work NXT Heatwave on July 7th. That’s not happening, as Giulia is still working for STARDOM founder Rossy Ogawa in his new Dream Star Fighting Marigold promotion.

The idea is for her to work in Marigold for a while before going to WWE. Unfortunately, she suffered a right wrist injury during a match in May. However, Giulia is scheduled to face Saree on July 13.

In the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reported that Giulia is on the road this weekend with Marigold even though she’s not wrestling due to injury.

Meltzer wrote, “But she won’t be in Toronto for Heatwave and was always planned to be at the Marigold events this week.” Her official start date with WWE is unknown at this time.
