Female WWE stars arrive in Saudi Arabia ahead of Crown Jewel show

WWE has flown out three female Superstar to Saudi Arabia ahead of Thursday’s Crown Jewel pay-per-view.

As seen in the photo below, Natalya, Lacey Evans and Lana arrived In Riyadh earlier today. WWE usually does community work before the show so that is likely the reason why the women will be doing since WWE has not yet been able to work out a deal to include women on their Saudi Arabia shows.

WWE has expressed hope that women will eventually get to wrestle on a future show in Saudi Arabia. Triple H noted last year that it may take some time but he thinks it will happen at some point. During their last trip to the area, there was talk of Natalya vs. Alexa Bliss but those plans were nixed.

Natalya is the “go to” female on the roster whenever they need someone to do public appearances since she is one of the most trusted people working in the company. Renee Young was brought in for commentary for last year’s Super ShowDown event in Saudi Arabia. There’s no word on if she is part of she’s with the crew for this trip.

In other news related to Crown Jewel, we noted earlier that Hulk Hogan and Jimmy Hart were having issues with their private plane. Hogan and Hart had a rough landing in Iceland and ended up moving to Brock Lesnar’s private plane. So, Hogan, Hart, Lesnar and Ric Flair all flew together to Saudi Arabia.

We will have complete WWE Crown Jewel results here at Coverage begins with the Kickoff show on Thursday at 12 pm eastern and the main card at 1 pm eastern.
