Following the success of the first season, production for WWE: Unreal Season 2 on Netflix is reportedly in full swing. A new report from BodySlam+ provides details on the cast, interview subjects, and key storylines to be covered in the upcoming episodes.
Cast And Interview Subjects Revealed
The report states that a diverse group of superstars is scheduled to sit down for interviews shortly. The list includes Seth Rollins, Becky Lynch, R-Truth, Iyo Sky, Naomi, Lyra Valkyria, and Penta. These interviews will likely provide the season’s narrative backbone, similar to the debut season’s format.
According to BodySlam+, WWE and Netflix have “already allegedly completed a significant amount of filming” due to the volume of events that have occurred over the last eight months. The production crews have been capturing behind-the-scenes footage to document the company’s big angles.
Key Storylines: R-Truth’s Contract And Rollins’ Cash-In
Two specific storylines were highlighted as focal points for the new season. The first is R-Truth’s contract-expiration saga, which saw him leave the company briefly after expressing displeasure online, only to return shortly thereafter. The second major focus will be Seth Rollins’ dramatic Money in the Bank cash-in at SummerSlam, where he faked an injury before successfully cashing in on CM Punk.
While no official release date has been announced, reports suggest that the second season of the docuseries is expected to drop on the streaming platform sometime in 2026.
