Here are some notes from tonight’s WWE Draft. You can check out the complete list of draft picks by clicking here.
– The WWE Tag Team, U.S., and Women’s titles are on Raw. I’m not sure if the Women’s title will be exclusive but I believe that the other two will be exclusive to Raw only.
– WWE Title and Intercontinental title will be exclusive to Raw. It hasn’t been announced yet, but the plan is to create a world title for Raw.
– There was no mention of The Undertaker.
– There was no mention of Paul Heyman
– The Club has been split up. AJ Styles is on Smackdown. Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson are on Raw.
– The Wyatt Family are split up but Bray and Erick Rowan will remain together on the Smackdown brand. I presume that Luke Harper will join him when he’s cleared to return from injury.
– Real-life couple Alberto Del Rio (Smackdown) and Paige (Raw) are on separate brands.
– The NXT draft picks were Finn Balor, American Alpha, Nia Jax, Carmella, Mojo Rawley, and Alexa Bliss. Eva Marie has been and forth between the main roster and NXT. She was considered to be a main roster draft pick and she’s on Smackdown.
– Heath Slater was not drafted. They did a comedy segment with him on the WWE Network. I’m sure he’ll land somewhere.
– The entire NXT roster watched the live draft at the Performance Center.
