Final WWE SummerSlam Odds Point To Multiple Title Changes

The final betting odds have been released for this weekend’s massive two-night SummerSlam premium live event, and they predict a major shake-up across both brands. According to the oddsmakers at BetOnline.ag, six of the nine championships on the line are expected to change hands.

New Champions Favored In World Title Bouts

The odds suggest we will see new champions crowned in both of the men’s world title main events. Cody Rhodes (-275) is the favorite to defeat John Cena (+185) and recapture the Undisputed WWE Championship. In the Night One main event, CM Punk (-180) is favored to end the dominant reign of World Heavyweight Champion GUNTHER (+140).

More Title Changes Expected

Several other challengers are heavily favored. Jade Cargill (-200) is the favorite to win the WWE Women’s Championship from Tiffany Stratton (+150). Alexa Bliss & Charlotte Flair (-500) are massive favorites to dethrone The Judgement Day (+300) for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships. Lyra Valkyria (-140) is favored to capture the Women’s Intercontinental Championship from Becky Lynch (+100). The odds have also flipped in the United States Championship match, with Jacob Fatu (-140) now favored to defeat the champion, Solo Sikoa (+100).

A Few Champions Expected To Retain

Only three champions are favored to leave MetLife Stadium with their titles. Women’s World Champion Naomi (-3000) is the most overwhelming favorite on the entire card to retain in her triple-threat match. Intercontinental Champion Dominik Mysterio (-350) is also a heavy favorite to defeat AJ Styles (+225). In the massive six-pack TLC match for the WWE Tag Team Championship, the new team of Andrade & Rey Fenix (+130) are the slight favorites to walk away with the gold.
