Finn Balor defends WWE using part-time wrestlers in big matches

Finn Balor is making the media rounds to promote the WWE NXT episode, which has been billed as New Year’s Evil, this week where he’ll be making his next title defense against Kyle O’Reilly.

The NXT Champion did an interview with Metro.UK. During the interview, he gave his take about WWE using part-time wrestlers in big matches and taking a spot on a card of big events such as Royal Rumble and WrestleMania.

This comes after Goldberg challenged WWE Champion Drew McIntyre to a title match at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view event. According to Balor, he has no issue with it and gave an explanation as to why.

“Doesn’t bother me at all. I believe that everyone has a place in this business, and if you’re on the show, you’re on the show for a reason. If you’re on the show once a year, if you’re on the show every night, that’s down to everybody’s individual circumstance. Balor also talked about facing O’Reilly, getting injured in their previous match, and more. Check out the full interview here.
