Finn Balor got people talking after sending a message to former UFC Lightweight and Featherweight Champion Conor McGregor, who announced his retirement from MMA competition.
Although there is speculation that McGregor announced his retirement as a negotiation tactic while in talks with the UFC for his next fight, it hasn’t stopped Balor from trying to get him to make an appearance at WrestleMania 35.
Balor, who is slated to challenge Bobby Lashley for the Intercontinental Title at this show, reacted to McGregor’s news by writing, “See you at ‘mania brother.”

In the past, Lynch has expressed interest in teaming up with McGregor to take on Ronda Rousey and WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle in a mixed tag team match. This came up when she was asked about a potential WWE show at Croke Park, which is an 82,300 seat venue in Ireland.
Obviously, the match that Lynch pitched is out of the question at Mania due to Lynch and Rousey battling in a triple threat match alongside Charlotte Flair for the WWE Raw Women’s Title while Angle wrestles his final match against Baron Corbin at WrestleMania 35.
