Finn Balor opened up on his ‘Demon’ character while doing an interview with WWE Deutschland.
Balor used this character before he joined WWE and did so as well in NXT. Once placed on the main roster, Balor used the alter-ego less and less. Balor had been in NXT for over a year, but was recently moved back to the main roster and placed on Friday Night SmackDown.
Balor noted that while he thinks the character has a future, he is sticking with his ‘Prince’ character for now.
“You’re hitting me with the hard questions. Yeah, obviously yeah. I feel like ‘The Demon’ definitely has a future, but right now I’m very focused on the‘ Prince’ and this current invention of the character and the direction that we’re going in. I’m sure we’ll get back to ‘The Demon’ at some stage.”
Balor is slated to wrestle Baron Corbin on tonight’s episode of SmackDown after Corbin cost him the chance to sign a contract that would see him wrestle Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal Championship at SummerSlam.
