WWE Raw Commissioner Mick Foley will not be able to attend next month’s ICW Fear & Loathing IX show on 11/20 at The SSE Hydro but former WWE Universal Champion will be making a one-time only appearance as Foley’s replacement.
The biggest night of the year for ICW got even bigger as Balor will be acting as the Special Enforcer for the night. Last year’s Fear & Loathing VIII was the biggest selling show in British history since the days of Big Daddy and Giant Haystacks in the early 80s.
The reason why Foley was originally allowed to be booked for that show is because he is not under a full-time talent contract. Guys like Foley, Booker T, Jerry Lawler and a few others are allowed to work on independent shows. The deal to get Balor as a replacement was approved by WWE as a make-good because Foley is needed for the Survivor Series in Toronto.
