Former WWE Universal Champion Finn Balor recently appeared at Wizard World in Pittsburgh and Frank Palmer of Screen Geek was in attendance during Balor’s Q&A session with fans. During the Q&A session, Balor was asked if he will be appearing at the Roadblock PPV. For those who missed it, he was advertised by the official website of the PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, which will host Roadblock on December 18th, to appear despite Balor being of action with a shoulder injury. Balor explained that he heard the rumors but thinks that it was just a mistake as he believes WWE submitted advertisement for the PPV event before SummerSlam back in August. Balor was injured at SummerSlam, and it was expected that he would headline the Roadblock PPV. He thinks the advertisement had yet to be updated, so it was just a mistake. “I will 100% guarantee that I will be home with my family and friends at Christmas. I will be back in 2017,” Balor said.
Now, that his lawsuit with Gawker is over, there have been rumors of Hulk Hogan returning to WWE. Hogan’s name had been removed from WWE programming last July after transcripts leaked by The National Enquirer alleged that Hogan had used racial slurs during the sex tape. There has been speculation that WWE will bring Hogan back for a role at WrestleMania 33 due to the event being held in Orlando, Florida, which is near where Hogan lives. When asked if he thinks Hogan will return to WWE, Balor said that anything can happen in the WWE and with him being a WWE fan, he would love to see Hogan come back to WWE. “I don’t know if that’s possible, but a lot stranger things have happened in the past, and it’s not out of the realm of possibility one bit,” Balor said. Balor added that he would like to wrestle Hogan if the opportunity comes up.
