Finn Balor recently spoke with News.com.au to promote the September WWE live events in Australia and New Zealand. During the interview, he was asked about possibly reforming The Bullet Club with Luke Gallows, Karl Anderson and AJ Styles in WWE. This has been widely discussed by both wrestlers and fans. He said that it’s something that comes up every now and again. “To me, it was a moment in time. That moment for me was four years ago. A lot has changed in those four years. Myself, Luke, Karl have a lot of history together, and AJ (Styles) is on Smackdown, the possibility of perhaps reuniting in the future, sure it’s tasty to a lot of people.” He thinks that individually right now they’re stronger on their own paths. He added that maybe that would change in the future. “We may need to reassemble the troops, but for now I think we’re all doing fine.”
Balor was the inaugural WWE Universal Champion when he beat Seth Rollins at the 2016 SummerSlam event. However, he had to vacate the championship due to a shoulder injury that kept him out of action for months. When asked about wanting to be the Universal Champion again, he said, “Perhaps considering the fact I never actually lost the Universal Title, maybe at some point I’ll be granted a rematch — maybe against Samoa Joe or Brock Lesnar.”
Balor also talked about missing WrestleMania 33 and more. You can read the entire interview here.
