Finn Balor working hurt?, former WWE star could be returning to the company + more WWE news and notes

Finn Balor might be a little big banged up, although it doesn’t look to be anything that will keep him out of action. A fan took a photo of him and noted that he was wearing Kinesio tape on his shoulder. It looks like he might have aggravated it at the show on Friday because he was not wearing the tape at that show but, as you can see below, he wore the tape at the live event in Hampton, Virginia on Saturday night.

There’s been a lot of talk in WWE about Shane Helms possibly getting a job there as a coach. Nothing is locked in but that was the talk going around when Helms was seen visiting at the WWE live event in Fayetteville, NC on Friday night. Helms left Global Force Wrestling/Impact Wrestling last month and has not been shy about his feelings about the company. Click here to read what he said about the politics behind his departure.

WWE has announced that Rob Schamberger has signed a deal with Mattel to featured his work in action figures. Congrats to Rob. His work is awesome and it’s great to see good things happen to good people.

According to the early Raw preview, we should know by this week who will be facing Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam. It is looking more like they will end up announcing a Fata 4-Way for the Universal Championship. The original plans were for Roman Reigns to challenge for the championship at WrestleMania but it looks like plans were reshuffled and there are bigger plans for Reigns at WrestleMania. Based on the storylines, it looks like we’ll get Lesnar defending against Reigns, Samoa Joe and Braun Strowman.
