Finn Balor was interviewed by “The Gorilla Position” podcast as part of the media hype for WWE SummerSlam. He will be facing Baron Corbin as part of the main card.
Among several topics, he was asked if he was asked if he was excited about his match with Corbin. Fans on Twitter have picked up on his reaction and it’s awesome. Check out the clip below. There appears to be a hint of sarcasm when he is asked if he is excited for his match with Corbin.
“I’m wound up over the moon about this match. Can’t sit still.” He cleaned it up afterward and put over Corbin, despite the lack of experience. Balor said, “Despite Constable Corbin’s lack of respect and experience, he’s actually an excellent competitor in the ring and underrated and moves well for a big man.” Balor joked that he sees Corbin for way too long in real life. He added that he gets “negative vibes” from Corbin.
Balor also talked about his short run where he poured baby oil on himself, being WWE Universal Champion again, thoughts on Brock Lesnar, the independent scene boom, his earliest memories of SummerSlam and more.
