First challenger set for Becky Lynch’s WWE Raw Women’s Championship

The first challenger for Becky Lynch’s Raw Women’s Championship was established this week on Monday Night Raw.

Lacey Evans interrupted an in-ring segment between Lynch and Natalya and declared (per orders of the McMahon’s) that she would get a match with Natalya and the winner would become the new number 1 contender.

Evans won with the Woman’s Right and an awesome looking jumping moonsault.

Aside from the main story being told with Lynch and Evans, the other story told here is that Natalya has been screwed once again. It would not surprise me to see her turn heel at some point since there were plans for a heel turn last year. Those plans were scrapped when her father Jim Neidhard passed away.

Money In The Bank is the next WWE pay-per-view so I would assume that Lynch will defend her title on that show.

Money In The Bank will take place on Sunday, May 19 in Hartford, CT.
