WWE has announced a new special in India that will air on January 26th, which is also the same date as Indian Republic Day, a national holiday for the country.
No other details about the first-ever “WWE Superstar Spectacle” were announced via social media. WWE sent out the following:
“Breaking Now: The first-ever #WWESuperstarSpectacle is coming soon. #StayTuned #India.”

This could have something to do with the launch of the NXT India brand as it was reported last month that WWE has a taping date listed on January 22nd for an ‘India Special’ on their internal calendar.
