The last pay-per-view of the pandemic era has a main event locked in.
WWE Raw Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley will defend her title against Charlotte Flair at the Hell in a Cell pay-per-view on June 20. Flair became the number 1 contender this week by defeating Asuka.
That match happened after Rhea Ripley failed to pin Nikki Cross in a 2-minute Beat The Clock Challenge.
The WWE Championship match will be locked in by next week. On next week’s Raw, Kofi Kingston will face Drew McIntyre and the winner of that match will challenge the champion, Bobby Lashley.
On the SmackDown side, it looks like the direction is Roman Reigns vs. Jimmy Uso inside the Hell in a Cell but, as noted earlier, Vince McMahon has changed course on the original direction for the Cell pay-per-view that match is not a lock yet.
This will be the last pay-per-view inside the WWE ThunderDome. WWE will start running shows again with fans beginning with the July 16th episode of SmackDown. Click here for news on two names already booked for the show.
