Florida Governor allowing full capacity at sporting events, possible indication for WrestleMania 37? composite composite

WWE is still listing WrestleMania 37 to take place from SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. However, it was reported last week that WWE has plans in place to move the show to Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida.

The date as it still stands is March 28, 2021 for WrestleMania 37. It’s been well documented that Vince McMahon wants to run shows with fans in attendance again. NXT is having selective fans at their shows and WWE is reportedly moving away from the ThunderDome starting in November to be able to hold outdoor events with fans as well.

News broke on Wednesday that Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has given clearance to the Miami Dolphins as well as all sporting events to have full capacity at their games. However, the NFL team has opted to still hold games with a limited crowd of 13,000 instead of 65,000 for now.

The connection between this clearance and WWE is that if WWE does move WrestleMania 37 to Florida then this could indicate that the company would be allowed to host as many fans as possible in the stadium.

As of this writing, there’s no word yet on whether the Tampa Bay Buccaneers or even the Jacksonville Jaguars will change direction with how many fans they allow inside of their stadiums. With COVID-19, things can change at any time and with several months to go until WrestleMania, nothing is certain.
